Highlighted Articles of the Week

Welcome to this weeks exciting new edition. I’m pleased to present several new articles to the Psychology Fanatic website. The first article Integrative therapy explores the integrating of different therapy styles to provide the best treatment to fit individual needs of a client. The next article, Ego State Therapy, is a therapeutic approach that views the human psyche as a collection of distinct but integrated ego states.

Other new articles include: The Racket System explores a concept in transactional analysis. Panpsychism is a metaphysical theory in consciousness, referring to the concept that every object has a conscious. Included in this weeks article is an article covering the broad topic of consciousness theories. The last article presented this week is embodied cognition. This refers to the stored memories in our bodies that unconsciously motivate action.

We also included four articles from 2018 that were updated this week. Like last weeks collection from 2018, they are transitional articles, pointing to a time in the development of this database where article were beginning to shift from motivational social media posts to more psychology based. Recent updates to these articles tie the motivational and wellbeing concepts to psychology theories.
