2024 Article Newsletter Volume 1
Welcome to 2024 and the new look newsletter. The concept behind a periodic newsletter is to free up your inboxes from the barrage of new articles posted to the Psychology Fanatic website. Recently, the page editor added the option to not send an email with every new addition. I’m sure many of you, like me, hate too many emails. I hope this new format will work much better, still providing a variety of psychology articles, but is a much more controlled format.
I’m looking forward to a brand new year of explorations in psychology. Now that Psychology Fanatic has sufficient content, I am working on a more organized structure. I am doing this through the creation of a dozen primary topic pages posted on the home page. Each primary topic page will then be linked to sub topic pages and lists of associated articles and research.
Primary Pages
The primary topic pages are:
- Major Branches of Psychology
- Therapy Styles
- Defense Mechanisms
- Psychology of Emotion
- Prominent Psychology Experiments
- Psychology of Individual Differences (Personality)
- Psychology of Wellness
- Social Psychology
- Psychology Disorders
Many of these articles were originally written as stand alone articles. I am in the process of transforming them into a primary topic page with links to other articles within the same domain of psychology.
New Articles
Since the change over to the new format, I have added several new articles. The latest six articles are always posted on the home page.
Here are the latest articles:
December 2023
January 2024
- Focusing Illusion
- Milgram Experiment
- Panic Disorder
- Habituation
- Imposter Syndrome
- Manipulative Behaviors in a Relationship
- Humor: A Defense Mechanism
- Internalization
- The Four Stages of Competence
- Fragmentation Psychology
- Intergenerational Family Therapy

If you have not yet signed up, take a moment to add your email to the Psychology Fanatic growing list of followers. As always, I keep the emails private and protected. I will never sell email addresses obtained through Psychology Fanatic. Thank you for all your support and sticking with this psychology exploration endeavor over the last year, during the growing pains of switching to this new format, enduring the barrage of emails, and the ever changing style on the website.

Support
This website and research is a full time job, requiring nearly forty hours a week. I primarily do this out of passion for the topic. You can help defray the costs by visiting links, reading articles, purchasing books through the Amazon links in citations, or by visiting any interesting ads.
Giving my best to all. ~T. Franklin Murphy
